Keep your diary in the language you think in.
There is no language setting to find. Lifelog listens to each recording, works out what you are speaking, and transcribes it in that language — Spanish, Japanese, Hindi, Tagalog, Arabic, Ukrainian, whatever came out. It covers the languages people actually journal in, and it decides per entry, not per account.
The title it suggests comes back in your language too, so your calendar reads the way you speak rather than in translated English. Switch languages mid-week — or mid-trip — and nothing breaks: the next entry is simply detected again.
The doodle needs no translation at all. A drawing of the day you had works the same in every language, which is the whole point of putting one on the calendar.

Finally committed to journaling
I love this app!! I always loved the idea of journaling but could never get myself into the habit of doing it every day. The doodle is like a nice reward at the end of each day, and they’ve finally allowed me to get into a real routine with my journaling. Also, it’s so cool to see all of my days at a glance! Between work/school/etc life can sometimes feel monotonous, but these doodles make each day feel like its own adventure :)

OBSESSED with these doodles. They’re so cute and make me so happy, especially when I’ve had a long day it’s nice to journal and see a little doodle that makes me smile. The journal habit I’ve been waiting for
I’ve tried a lot of journaling - techniques, apps, routines… you name it. Lifelog finally delivers on what I’ve been looking for. Simple interface, voice to text and the doodling is a wonderfully creative and personal touch. I find myself wanting to do my recordings to see the doodle. I haven’t used the detailed analytics but it’s nice to know they are there

I feel like I want a more organic way to remember what happened in a given week, that’s not just Instagram stories. This is a really fun and easy way to memorialize the every day - a version of a gratitude journal, but so much more enjoyable to use!!

Is my diary private?+
Yes. Your recordings and transcripts are encrypted in transit over HTTPS and encrypted at rest on secure cloud storage, and your diary is tied to your own account. Only you can see your entries. There are no ads, and your entries are never sold.
Does Lifelog transcribe my voice automatically?+
Yes. Every recording is automatically transcribed into text with word-level timestamps, so you can read your entry, search across your whole history, and follow along with highlighting as the audio plays. Short entries are usually transcribed within a second or two of you tapping stop.
What if I cannot talk out loud right now?+
Tap the keyboard button next to the microphone and type the entry instead. Typed entries land on the same calendar and still get an AI title and a daily doodle, so a day you typed looks no different from a day you spoke.
Can I get my recordings and transcripts out?+
Yes. You can export your memories and transcripts as a CSV file from the Profile screen at any time, with the date, title and full transcript of every entry. You can also delete your account and all of its data from the same screen.
